How to Get Support
We want to see you succeed with the knowledge you gain from the course, and to help with that, we offer many different avenues for support. There’s something for everyone regardless of where you are on your journey.
If you’re looking for an answer quickly, please check the forums, past Office Hours, current-cohort Office Hours calls, and existing Q&As to see if your question has already been answered! We provide time stamps for the calls and Q&As, and you can search a webpage with this keyboard shortcut: Control (or Command) + F. (Press Control/Command on your keyboard and then F).
1) Forums
The forums included within this course are awesome. We highly recommend checking it out. =)
The forums run 24/7. Our Teacher’s Assistants (TA’s) and your fellow students and investors hang out here. Whenever you ask a question, you’ll get multiple perspectives. Plus, others benefit from seeing the discussion sparked and from participating.
Our TA’s are all YFRP alumni, so they know exactly what you’re going through as they’ve been there themselves. They keep an eye on the forums and respond within 24-48 hours.
The forums also have a search bar, so if you’re looking for something in particular, search for it, as it may have been discussed before!
Lastly, you can network with other investors. We have an entire sub-forum dedicated to this.
The forums are the best place to have in-depth, back-and-forth discussions with your fellow classmates. They offer structure so it’s easier to organize and present information there. There’s also a huge archive of useful knowledge that’s been formed by previous cohorts.
2) Office Hours
This is the best way to ask your questions, because that’s the purpose of the Office Hours calls! Office Hours calls are scheduled and themed based on where the cohort is in the course. Please complete the module lessons before asking questions.
Office Hours are also the only way to get direct access to Paula.
We have all the details listed on this page, along with the schedule. Attendance is capped at 100 students to ensure that everyone who attends can ask a question.
Office Hours are recorded, so you don’t have to worry about missing out on anything! We provide timestamps for all questions asked on a call.

3) Active Investor Calls
Are you in the thick of your investor journey? Are you going under contract, screening tenants, making renovations, or hiring team members?
Have you moved from the learning phase to the doing phase of buying your rental property?
Do you wish you had a close-knit group of fellow investors who are working through similar challenges that you could bounce ideas off of?
Look no further: hop on an Active Investor call! They take place every two weeks via Zoom on Tuesdays at 5 pm Pacific | 8 pm Eastern. Talk with other active investors, get input on your ideas, offer feedback to others, and network!
These calls continue in between cohorts, so see the calendar below for the upcoming dates!

4) Study Hall
Still in the learning phase of your journey? We have you covered. Every Thursday at 5 pm Pacific | 8 pm Eastern, starting September 28th, Karen, our Head Teacher’s Assistant, will host Study Hall. She’ll pick a resource from the course to cover in-depth, and then she’ll take questions from students. The goal is to get you using the amazing resources within the course like a pro. If you need a form of accountability, this is a great method to use!
To get the most out of the study hall, please come with that week’s resources filled out and prepared to ask questions! Yes, that’s right, there’s homework. Fun homework that helps you reach your rental property goals! See below for the schedule.

Technical Support
** Many students run into video playback issues that we’re unable to replicate. Please check out this troubleshooting guide from Vimeo. Typically, it’s an issue with your browser being out-of-date, so make sure it’s updated and try turning off plug-ins or extensions! If you’re still having trouble after going through that guide, then reach out to Erin ([email protected]) with your specific issue, browser, device, and operating system, and she’ll investigate. **
Spreadsheet Support
If you find a bug within one of the spreadsheets in the course, please fill out this form. We’ll get in touch with you when we’ve sorted it out, or if we need more information!
We hope this provides clarity on how to receive support in the course!
The short summary is:

- Forums are the best way to receive ongoing support whenever you need it
- Office Hours are a one-hour, focused Q&A session with Paula that happen on Mondays at 5 pm Pacific | 8 pm Eastern during the cohort
- Active Investor Calls are for students in the active doing phase of their journey. They occur every other Tuesday at 5 pm Pacific | 8 pm Eastern
- Study Hall is a great option for students in the learning phase of their journey. They happen on Thursdays at 5 pm Pacific | 8 pm Eastern during the cohort.
In case you’re wondering why not email? – other students don’t benefit when communication is restricted to email. We want to make information as public as possible so everyone benefits!
Thank you!

UNHAPPY WITH YOUR PURCHASE?
Did you purchase the course and realize it’s not the right fit for you at this time? Don’t worry. Your First Rental Property comes with a 14-day 100% money-back guarantee.
HOW CAN I REQUEST A REFUND?
If you’re within our refund window (prior to July 21, 2022), all you have to do is email Suni at [email protected] with your request. As long as you’re within the 14-day window, you’ll receive a refund.
The refund can take 5-7 business days to process, but we will issue the refund upon receipt of your request and reply letting you know to expect it.
When we issue a refund, access to the course is lost. All refunds are final.
We might ask you for additional feedback as to why you’re refunding, especially if it’s due to a mismatch in expectations or the course not exceeding its value. Your feedback helps us improve this course and our messaging, and we’re happy to listen to your thoughts.
ONCE YOU’RE OUT, YOU CAN’T COME BACK
“Refunds are final” means that once you’re out, you can’t come back in. Dancing in and out of the course doesn’t provide you with the best experience, nor does it provide other students with the best experience. Group camaraderie is important and works best when everyone is committed to the same (or similar) goal.
If the course or real estate investing isn’t right for you, we’re happy to issue a refund, but please know that it’s final.
IF YOU’RE OUTSIDE OF THE REFUND WINDOW…
We make it clear on the enrollment page that all new students have until July 20, 2022, to see if the course is a good fit for them. It is your responsibility to make time to explore the course before then. We don’t grant refund requests past July 20, 2022.
Thank you!
